Yes that’s right, Central Yorkshire’s County Camp has officially launched and you can now register your interest in attending!

Challenge 23 is Central Yorkshire’s County Camp for all sections, held at Bramham Park near Leeds from Friday 7th – Sunday 9th July 2023. It is truly a special event where young people (and adults!) can engage with a variety of activities, make new friends and most importantly have fun!

How will this work? This year, we are using an online booking system to collect all of your registration information. It has been built by leaders, for leaders.

Over the course of the next week, you will receive a special access code from your District Commissioner. One access code exists per Scout Group/Explorer Scout Unit.

You then need to head to https://www.challengecamp.org.uk/ and click ‘booking’.

Create an account and use your access key to log in and select your group. Please note, only one person per Group/Unit can login – this person will become the contact point for your Group/Unit.  

This registration process is designed to allow the Challenge 23 Administration team to gather the overall numbers of young people and leaders who would like to attend Challenge 23.

At this stage we don’t need any details about your young people or leaders, just an indication of how many people we should expect from your Group. Don’t worry if you don’t have exact numbers, you can change this as many times as you like until the 16th December, but please do try to be as accurate as possible to help us get our planning correct.

Once you’ve registered, we will send you an invoice for your non-refundable deposit of £50 per Group/Unit which can be paid by BACS or by cheque.

The deadline for completing your initial registration is Friday 16th December 2022.

For those who are not attached to a Group/Unit but wish to attend as Challenge Service Team, booking for this will open in the next few months.
