We are wanting to make Challenge20 as Youth Shaped as possible and this is being led by County Youth Commissioner, Mathew Milner with the help from the Youth Board which has been set up to help look at areas of the Camp which could be shaped by young people. They will look at these key areas:

An Event for Young People, Shaped by Young People
Youth Board- Opportunity and Experience
Wider Engagement- Any and All Views Welcome
Badge Competition-
Young People’s Priorities
Explorer Provision
Sustainability
Safety + Experience (Signs, Toilets, Lighting)

A Safe and Welcoming Experience.

We are working on providing a solution such as fairy lights as shown at County Cub Camp and other District Camps.

Sustainable Skills for Life

Due to cost, this isn’t feasible as would cost us nearly £5000 in wristbands alone. We will still use traditional paper wristbands but these can be recycled in paper recycling and green bins!

Due to the nature of the site we can’t use electric golf buggys. We will keep this in mind for future camps where sites aren’t as hilly!

We are going to offer reusable plates and cutlery in IKIFS and cups in the Leaders Coffee Shop.
